The league aimed to create a new gamemode in ACFC, which would have participants race between planets in spacecraft. The league went stagnant a few months later, due to lack of community interest; but it would later pick up steam in mid-late 2023, with frequent track meetups using the Andea & Vytal-built Rod Canyon sprint track. This eventually turned into a dedicated track spawner in the Event server, making racing easily accessible.
In 2024, Vytal reset itself completely, reflecting it's main focus of that year by limiting itself to the creation of racing vehicles. The end-goal of the reset was to fix what rensak3n considered a problem; inconsistencies between ships. While the community considered Vytal ships to be of high-quality, the corporation found that each ship had no connection or correlation to each other. By resetting, Vytal would be able to start fresh and build up a design language that would be consistent between spacecraft.
Their return would be marked with the release of the FO1, a limited-run racing ship with a price tag of 1000 credits.
High end price tags like this were not unheard of at the time (Sanctus & Ultra Dei released tanks priced at 2500 and 2499 respectively), but they veered significantly against the corporation trend of cheap ships (i.e. Apollo Dynamics with sub-100 credit products).
